Out of these i really enjoy the first. The angle from what it is shot is great and also the subject. I also really like the bottom picture because of the depth of field.
Im diggin the piano shot. So playful and fun, well composed too. But it seems a bit grainy. I wonder if you can play with the luminance or do a noise reduction to get rid of some of that.
The second photo is pretty interesting too. Its so mundane but the color and the pose almost makes it seem set-up. Nice work overall.
I wasnt going to comment on the third image but its grown on me. How they are hiding their identity. But this one also seems the most real. Its a moment in time, unstaged but still well composed.
I really like the first image. Very creative and well photographed. I also like the 3rd image, but I wish that you could see just a little bit of her face since you can see a little bit of his, but very nice composition and I like that she is in focus and he isn't.
Oh gosh I really like the piano picture, pure genius! That angle is really working well, and the color combination is so muted and pretty. The focus on the face is a little bit off, which does draw more attention to the hands, but I don't think it's ENOUGH unfocused to accomplish this if that was your goal... although I would prefer to just see it in better focus. Ugghhh it's such a fun image, awesome job and idea.
Definitely use the piano image. Maybe you could develop this idea into a series. You could do a little more blending to try to create the illusion of the arms being attached to the subject. It's a very good idea. I'd really like to see the concept developed into an entire series.
The top two photos are great. The second photo feels very upstaged and real life. The piano photo is very creative.

ReplyDeletepiano one has great potential for a larger project too. it makes me think of the idea that we are always feeling like we must multitask.
ReplyDeleteI like the play of the orange lighting and red hair and colors in her shirt in the office one!
ReplyDeleteThe piano one is great too! Visual mystery! :)
